Washington state has a lot to offer.  Not only will you find a whole host of scenic mountains and parks, you can explore your cultural side with all of the museums and galleries that are available throughout the state.  The largest city in Washington state is Seattle – which is known for being trendy and boasting lots of tourist attractions. We’ve put a list of some of the best things to do in Washington State.

The Space Needle

The space needle is an iconic landmark in Seattle and was built way back in 1962.  You can head to the observation to see the picturesque views of the city, and this is 520 feet high.  For those of you who are afraid of elevators, don’t worry – it will take you only 41 seconds to get to the top when it’s good weather outside.  Then you can enjoy the 360 view of the Seattle skylines.

Visit Tacoma

If you are in the mood for some culture, you will most definitely want to visit Tacoma.  This is the 3rd largest city in the state and is renowned for its museums.  You can visit the likes of The Museum of Glass, Washington State History Museum, Tacoma Art Museum and lots more.  It’s also been names as one of the most “walkable” cities in the country – so perfect for those of you who like a stroll.
